Regardless of the constellation (traditional, open, LGTBQ, religious, secular) of your relationship, pre-marital counseling, with a trained Marriage and Family Therapist, can provide meaningful growth experiences such as preemptively learning how to communicate more effectively, increase emotional intimacy, manage inevitable conflict, and lean into shared values and meaning. Working with me, a therapist who specializes in couples therapy, is an investment in co-creating a mutually affirming relationship based on thoughtful cooperation and consideration. Together over the course of 8 consecutive Thursdays, you and your partner will build a foundation for connection that will remain a guiding compass throughout both the length and the width of your relationship.
